About the Editor
Nikki Bowman, a West Virginia native, is the founding editor-in-chief of WV LIVING. She graduated from West Virginia University in 1992 and received her master’s degree in Writing from DePaul University in Chicago. She has more than 10 years of experience editing magazines in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Mississippi. She is the former editor of Mississippi Magazine, the state’s premier, award-winning lifestyle publication, which has a circulation of 50,000. Nikki has won several industry awards, including the 2005 CASE Grand Award for Improvement of Overall Publications Program, 2006 SPRF Award of Merit for Amicus Magazine, a 2006 Mississippi ADDY award, and 2007 PRAM Award of Excellence.
